Zoo-Day! Hoo-Ray!

Our day at the zoo was a lot of fun! The only thing that could have made it better was the weather... it was scorching HOT!! The animals weren't that active today... most were just taking it easy and resting. Stuart had a lot of fun and LOVED it!


We were able to cool off in the indoor exhibits! Stuart really liked watching all the fish. There were several aquariums! The blue bird (below) was a little strange. It walked around the place like he owned it :)


Mom... Dad... are you seeing this?!?!


We got to feed the parakeets! Charlie is holding two sticks because several birds were fighting on my arm. So I slowly gave him my stick and then chased after Stu, who was having a blast being so close to the birds!

It was so HOT that we thought some ice cream would cool Stuart down. He is going to town on his push-pop! Mmmmmm...good! Daddy had to finnish it though... it got a little too messy!



Stuart running down the African Boardwalk! Charlie is in the crowd of people behind Stuart. It was really hard to keep up with Stuart when he was out of the stroller... what a wild child. He belongs in a zoo!


We also went to the Wild Things Gift Shop to escape the heat. There Stuart fell in love with several stuffed animals but at the end of the day... he chose the cuddley lion. Stuart loved seeing the lions! He kepts saying 'Raaaaa! Raaaaa!'
